We recommend safaris into the park with the in-house naturalists very highly. The Royal Bengal Tiger being an obvious draw, but you will also find sightings of many other birds and animals (jungle fowl, deer, peacocks and elephants) equally enchanting.

Victorian style architecture features in the 48 living units offering a lot of space and privacy.
All the rooms feature facilities such as tea & coffee makers, mini-bar, telephone, safe deposit box, 32″/42″ LCD TVs with Tata Sky connections, Wi-Fi, running hot/cold water and fantastic air-conditioning.
The room sizes vary from 400 sq.ft. to 1000 sq.ft. and can easily accommodate from couples to large families travelling together.
Room Types at Aahana Resort:
Corbett Club rooms: Deluxe Rooms come with king sized beds / twin beds, 400-600 sq. ft. in size.
They come with a balcony or outside sitting area featuring a garden or jungle view.
Jim’s retreat: Luxury category rooms 650 sq. ft. in size and can accommodate 2 extra beds.
Balcony or outside sitting area with a jungle or garden view.
Jungle Lore: Luxury category rooms with an attached sitting room, 625-750 sq. ft. in size, can accommodate 2 additional beds.
Balcony / outside sitting areas with jungle / garden view.
Ranger’s Suite: A Luxury category room with an attached sitting room (800 sq. ft. and 125 sq. ft. in size respectively).
The room can accommodate 01 extra bed. A choice of garden or jungle view from the balcony/outside sitting area.
Family Suite – A 2 bedroom unit with one sitting room. The suite can accommodate four adults and two extra beds.
The room sizes are of 1040 sq. ft. and the sitting room has an area of 70 – 100 sq. ft. These are perfect for large families / families travelling together.
Villa – a 4 bedroom unit (with bathrooms en-suite), one sitting room, patio and foyer. The villa accommodates 8 adults and has a provision for two extra beds.
Villas 1, 3 & 4 have two king sized double beds and two twin beds, while Villa 2 has three king sized double beds with one twin bed.

A few important species that you can keep a look out for are Collared falconet, Great Hornbill, Great Slaty Woodpecker, Pallas’s Fishing Eagle, Lineated Barbet, Spot-bellied Eagle Owl, Pin-tailed Green Pigeon, Red-headed Vulture, Racket-tailed Drongo and Broadbill.

Aahana Resort – Travel Tips
- Corbett National park is divided into 5 zones for Safaris; Dhikala, Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela and Durgadevi.
- Safari permits are booked online and are subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
- All the zones are open for safaris from October 15th to June 15th barring:
- Dhikhala which opens from November 15th to June 15th
- Jhirna and Dhela which are open through the year.
You can supplement your trip to Corbett with an extension that takes you Nainital, which lies just 65 Kms away. The british era town is perfect for escaping the heat, celebrating the festive season and during the birding months of February & March.
You can enjoy the charms of an era gone by at the beautiful Abbotsford House (A heritage property built in 1876, now owned and managed by the Prasada family) while there.
