There is no dearth of fun activities during your stay here in great mountain weather.

Set out on guided treks through the Shola grasslands of Western Ghats to Mullayangiri for mesmerising sunrise views – the highest peak in Karnataka, about 20 km away. Another scenic hill station to explore on a day trip is Kemmangundi – 95 km off.
Take a 60 km drive to Kemmanagundi, inside the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, to walk by gurgling waterfalls on a day of outdoor explorations.
Embark upon a journey of discovery through the ancient temple complexes of Hoysala at Belur, Halebidu and Somanathapura. Belavadi, Shravanabelagola, Sringeri Sharada Peetha, Hornadu and Amrithapura are also a must do for an interesting brush with regional history and architecture.
