The tall Sal forests and lush green grasslands of Kanha are laden with moisture as the monsoons retreat and leave the jungle looking freshly watered and bursting with life. The many tined antlers of the Barasingha peek out of the flowering saccharum grass, as a tiger slowly stalks the edges of the thickets.
